About

From speech models to public revenue

Five years building AI systems in industry, seven publications and a patent in applied research, and a new chapter in Bangladesh's customs administration.

I'm an AI researcher and engineer with over five years of experience building Large Language Models (LLMs), Speech AI and Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems. I earned my bachelor's degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. My research spans Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision and Signal Processing, resulting in one patent and seven(7) publications, including a paper published in a Springer journal. Throughout my industry career, I've delivered AI solutions for government and enterprise clients across Bangladesh, Japan and India, and have been recognized with multiple Best Performer awards, contributed to open-source AI initiatives and earned top positions in international IEEE AI competitions.

I've recently been recommended for the BCS Customs and Excise Cadre as an Assistant Commissioner, marking the start of my journey in public service. My mission is to build a modern, technology-driven customs administration — integrating AI, analytics and digital governance to strengthen revenue collection, safeguard Bangladesh's economic interests, facilitate legitimate trade and combat illicit trade.
